Nothing brings the music community together more than the shared excitement of attending a concert to experience the warm companionship of a treasured work or to be illuminated with something new. Engaging with music and connecting with friends in the concert hall remains a place that inspires life’s possibilities. You are invited to imagine how the next chapter in our story of early music will be written.
A live and virtual music festival in November 2022 presents two concert weekends November 4-6 and 11-13, 2022 to mark the 350th anniversary of German Baroque composer Heinrich Schütz’s death. Heinrich Schütz was generally regarded as the most important German composer before J.S. Bach.

VOLUNTEER
Assist with spreading the word about SchützFest350.
- Distribute posters/flyers at community centres, cafés, galleries, theatres, and other suitable locations in a variety of neighbourhoods.
Assist with some administration behind-the-scenes. Take on any number of tasks:
- Fulfill general administrative tasks (filing, archiving, etc.)
- Act as a runner during rehearsals
- Add to social media posts
Assist with way-finding and provide excellent customer service, answering questions such as:
- Where are the washrooms?
- Do you offer accessible seating?
- Do you have a coat check?
- Where could I get a drink or snack?
